Our annual partnership with the Frederick Clay Studio, the Sidewalk sale features work made in the Studio by our own amazing students and teachers! One of the most loved events of the year, The Sidewalk Sale is a chance to find great pots by local potters, and get a glimpse into the world of The Frederick Clay Studio, and all the types of projects that you, too, could learn to create!
Our friends from the Hundred Acre Woods are visiting this year! Join Pooh Bear and friends for a fun filled, family friendly day in Everedy Square! Activities include a pin the tail on Eeyore game, face painting, costumed characters, balloons, and a scavenger hunt!
Local artist Steven Gibson creates stunning glass sculpture, jewelry, and functional home accents in his studio in Downtown Frederick. His time spent traveling the world serves as an inspiration to his colorful and modern designs.
Come in and check out the beautiful ceramic artwork of Kristin Leahy. Kristin's art features gorgeous thrown bowls, platters, and plates each lovingly hand painted with striking animals before being fired in the kiln.
Our very first featured artist of the year, Lisa York is a Frederick local who creates ceramics for special occasion and daily use. Finished primarily in a soda kiln, the varied surfaces, line, and circle patterns on her work are inspired from her love of the outdoors and travel. The colors she achieves in her glazes are mesmerizing, and are the perfect complement her unique forms, which include mugs, plates, bowls and more, as well as an incredible variety of vases in every size! Shop her collection all month long in our first floor display room!
