One of the most loved events of the year, The Sidewalk Sale is a chance to find great pots by local potters, and get a glimpse into the world of The Frederick Clay Studio, and all the types of projects that you, too, could learn to create!

Featured Artist Lisa York

Our very first featured artist of the year, Lisa York is a Frederick local who creates ceramics for special occasion and daily use. Finished primarily in a soda kiln, the varied surfaces, line, and circle patterns on her work are inspired from her love of the outdoors and travel. The colors she achieves in her glazes are mesmerizing, and are the perfect complement her unique forms, which include mugs, plates, bowls and more, as well as an incredible variety of vases in every size! Shop her collection all month long in our first floor display room!
